THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) expects its offices to be deluged on Monday by nursing board passers looking to take their oaths, GMA Network’s Flash Report said.

The report quoted PRC chair Leonor Tripon-Rosero as saying they will start administering the oaths to new nurses at 8:30 a.m.

The oath taking resumes after the Court of Appeals ruled late last week on a partial retake for more than 1,000 examinees of the leak-tainted tests 3 and 5 of the June 2006 nursing licensure examination.

The 1,687 examinees were those whose names were added to the list of board passers after a re-computation of the results of the June board exam.

The list of examinees who need to retake the nursing board is expected to be released at the same time the PRC begins administering the oaths to new nurses, Rosero said, adding the list should be posted on the PRC Website by Monday afternoon.

The PRC chair also said they were submitting to Malacañang the names of seven persons it is recommending as board examiners for the December nursing board.
